Meet Rishika a 16yr old Indian girl; She aspires to be a plastic surgeon and dermatology specialist one day. She loves stem and is passionate about medicine, hence forth she created MED DREAMERS: in order to help other individuals be as passionate about medicine as she as!

She is currently apart of many organizations; in fact, she owns a youth media called teen girls chronicles and currently starting a new project called Youth Study Cabin!

A fun fact about her is that she has been a part of a Dance institute that teachers Bharatnatyam {an Indian dance style} for more than 13 years! Along with dancing, she loves to debate, play keyboard, drawing and gaming! She tends to switch hobbies frequently, with random ones such as poem writing and crocheting.

Hello! My name is Eidma and I am a Bengali-American who is an upcoming sophomore in high school. I hope to pursue a career in the healthcare industry (whether it be a MD/DO, PA, MA, NP, etc!) in the future; with my love of medicine, the sciences, and deep research. I love traveling and exploring the world (ever since I was born!), anything fashion and makeup related, and enjoy listening to kpop + krnb!

As the current Secretary of MED DREAMERS, responsibility for maintaining the executive board, executive team and research team when the Executive director is absent is crucial. In addition, leading the team and bringing new initiatives is important as well. This position has greatly captured my interest as I believe my dedication and previous leadership commitments has given me the spotlight to increase my experience in being the secretary. MED DREAMERS also brings the factor of teamwork, and believe the hours I spend volunteering for the different projects in MED DREAMERS will make a difference.

Hey there, Alishba here. I aspire to become a pharmacist while being able to purse my own passions and interest on side. I am a huge fan of music, writing poetry, reading, playing badminton and learning about different aspects of psychology. So a bit of an all rounder. I hope to be able to share my passions and skills with others - to encourage them to follow their passions while being to give back to the community while striving to grow even further than before.

At Med Dreamers, I can strive to be able a space where anyone can learn and share their interests with others - when it comes to just finding a place where people share similar interests or even just being able to try new topics. As the director of projects, I plan on being able to hold various workshops for anyone's desire to learn a new aspect of medicine, to creating a welcoming home - having game nights, competitions, and being able to showcase your skill sets for everyone to see. I'm looking forward to begin planning and initiating these events, as I have assisted with holding hackathons, school events/spirit and even just simple drop-in sessions. I look forward with working with others with the strive to Med Dreamers a home. It will be rocky in the beginning, and there will be a lot of obstacles, but I'm very excited for this new challenge.

Jasjeet is a leader with diverse interests, such as sports, technology and entrepreneurship. During her free time, she can be seen trying new things or working on her blog or business.

She also has her own youth organization called zeducate and is part of youth.study.cabin executive directors

The role Jasjeet plays in Med Dreamers is director of website and technology. As part of her role, she works with various websites and marketing platforms to create a visually appealing site. Through the use of organizational skills, she ensures to update the website to meet the needs of Med Dreamers. She has had a great experience working with Med Dreamers and can't wait to continue learning in her journey of life!

Hi! My name is Fiona Chan and I'm a sophomore in highschool in Canada. I have alot of interest in studying and learning about biology and chemistry! Some of my interests lie in badminton, snowboarding, and art. I am grateful to be apart of Med Dreamer's Team and hope to do the best at my role in the team.

I am Med Dreamer's Social Media Manager, and I hope to be able to spread news and updates regarding healthcare, events, and much more to support our organization and the global community. I enjoy connecting with like-minded peers as well!

My name is Matthew Shen, and I am a fourteen-year-old attending high school in Canada. I have a passion for the health sciences and I really want to go into the field of ophthalmology and specialize in retina and vitreous surgery. Some of my hobbies include badminton, swimming, and reading. I really enjoy being in the Med Dreamers Team, and I hope to put my best foot forward for the team.

At Med Dreamers, I can pursue my interest in psychology and perhaps ophthalmology. I wish to foster an inclusive and vibrant community for everyone interested in what we do at Med Dreamers through research, interactive games, etc. As Director of Psychology, it is my mission to do my very best for my research team and put out quality content. I hope everyone who reads an article put out by my research team will leave with new-found knowledge!

Hi, I’m Abby! I want to find the sweet spot where all my interests intersect as an aspiring physician. I am a cellist, a STEM enthusiast, a writer, and a female advocate with a soft spot for world history. Through my actions, I hope to inspire other young girls to pursue any and all of their interests confidently, however disparate they may seem on the surface, and look for the delightful intersection where passions meet.

At Med Dreamers, I can pursue my dream of understanding more about neurology, neuroscience, and how our brain functions. As the director of neurology research, I am not only interested in learning about the subject at hand, but also in the experience of learning and writing alongside peers who are willing to dig deep with me, scour the internet for hours, and attempt to perfect the understanding of the very part of us that lights up the world. I am interested in leading and working with others to do these things while enjoying the sometimes tedious yet rewarding process. We may not be able to know everything, but we can certainly have fun and mentor each other while trying.
